I want to upload a skin for my XFG. i have saved one of the 2D diagrams on the forum in my skins folder under data. however, i cant find it in the garage. i have done this successfully before with the FBMs. why doesnt it work for me when i do it now. i followed exactly the same steps

What do you mean by 2D diagrams?

Demo racers can't upload skins.

By "2D diagrams" he most likely means the JPG image with the skin. Are you sure that your skin is palced in correct folder? Is the name of the file something like XFG_XXX.JPG? If you have downloaded that skin off the forum, the filename is likely to be altered, so double check it... Maybe you can point us to that skin so somebody else can check whether it works for him...

that is a XFR... a car demo users cannot drive.

nobody will see your car skin online because demo users can't use LFSWorld. only you will see it.

If you change the XFR to XFG in the name of the skin, the skin might actually fit on XFG as well, tough you might see few glitches, but I've never tried it...
