I know most fans of the old Red Faction will already know about the new one due out in June, so I thought I would make a thread to talk about it, and maybe get some more people interested.

The demo is out now to download, on the 360, PS3 but there is no PC demo yet. I would recommend that everyone downloads it. I have played through the one mission you get in the demo about 50 times now, and I'm not even close to being bored.
The more you play it the more you realise that you can't really just stand there are fight everyone, because eventually they send an army after you and you can't hide behind cover for long. The most satisfying thing I have done so far is kill myself by destroying a building with a sledgehammer making it collapse while I was still inside, that or walking through a 2 story building with the heavy walker and have everything fall down around me...not to mention while explosions from gas canisters went off.
I can't wait for the full game, the map looks pretty damn big and 16 player multiplayer would be a laugh. It also has 4 player multiplayer, in a similar style to the older Burnout games where you pass 1 controller between 4 people, taking turns doing the most damage.
The game runs well, the controls are simple and easy to use, the story seems pretty solid and it never gets boring.
