Okay, I have a weird sound problem

I recently reinstalled Skype, and my mic does not work at all in it, i.e. I can hear sounds, but can't hear myself talk.

It's a Logitech headset/mic combination, I can't remember the exact make/model of it (not helpful, I know)

Are you using Vista? Right click on the volume control icon and select 'recording devices'. Depending on if you're using a USB or analogue headset, you'll need to right click on any of the 'microphone' buttons and either enable or go into their properties and turn the volume up. If you could tell us your OS and mic type, that would help.

Running XP, it works normally in everything else,I'll buy a new headset later, see if it works with that, it is a usb combined headset/mic

Im on Win7 and im havin huge mic problems tho
Will get a new USB headset soon, i hope that it works.

New headset, still same problem, trying a new driver...

One question what music card do you own realtek or what.

Tested the mic in other apps, it works flawlessly....

dude don't pay attention to what its wright on pic cuz i am to lazy to change language take images as a hint and make sure that you chose your usb/headset also in this tab
