Ok, I got this wheel playing the game it was designed for, but there's very noticeable steering lag. It makes catching slides way too hard. Does anyone else get this? Is there a workaround?

I know this isn't a GT forum but I think it's useless to ask console players, them having too little experience with properly configured wheels playing properly supported games (G25 + LFS sort of experience).
