Umm, i bought myself the Creative Fatal1ty HS-1000 headset, everything works just fine and im very happy with it. But ... when i installed and activated/registered my product, then ... well. Something is still not working. I mean, it runs trhough USB and isnt using the same settings whats on the integrated card. Something named Creative Console wont start up - tells me that it cant find any headset.

Im pretty sad, because i wanna set my equalizer on it. I can set it on Windows Media Player too but when playng games like Cod4 or something ... sound is so freakin weak. ooh, and im running on Win7. When i looked up on Creative site and the product. I saw drivers only for XP and Vista 32/64 bit. But im not sure that heres the problem - most Vista programs/drivers work on Win7. Anyone has owned that headset? Halp - Halp !

If you have Windows 7 that'd be your problem I'd guess. It's quite funny, I've noticed loads of people (not necessarily you I'm not having a dig..) complaining about how <whatever> doesn't work on Windows 7. Serves you right for using a Beta and unsupported OS! Go back to Windows 98 and kick some real arse.

I was thinking of to go back on XP. But im too used to Win7 - its just perfect, everything fits my needs. But myea, ill try to contact Creative. Maybe theyr already working on new driver. Who knows.
