I could help you a bit, I've been interested in VTuning for quite long
Hehe.

Ages ago I used to be quite into this stuff.

Too bad all of my work is now long gone after several Windows reinstalls.

Anyway, I still have my quick'e from last year when I was really bored.

Nothing special as I have forgotten alot of the techniques now.

After:

DevilDare I have never ever seen anyone do a vitual tune of that picture before.
Well I was bored....

I couldnt be bothered to spend hours browsing the net looking for a good pic to tune.

I'm thinking of getting into this, and I didn't feel like making a new thread

Any tips on where to start?

Me myself, i dont like this very much. But, google would be nice for a start. If you have some experience with photoshop already then it cant be that hard. Also, u must have good imagination. Nothing more (in my opinion).
Since someone posted his work/s, I'll post my last one...

Where are you all getting the car parts from? I can't find any good pics
If you are referring also to my work, the bodykit is my own work, no c+p

Should have got rid of the rear doors. Just a little thing though, the pic looks fantastic.
Got round to doing a chop today - My first.

Not bad for first one.

The door handle however is badly hiden.

And dont bother with the stickers.... It usually does more "harm" than "good."
Did another one, just experimenting. Would look better with a spoiler.

Just remembered I had another one

That's quite cool

I see you also get cars from NetCarShow.com Great site.
Yeah, a teacher told me even car designers use it everyday at work
Keep working, that's how I started with Photoshop
Tip for you Brandon.

Take your time. Its better to produce a more quality job than 5 which are badly done.

Also, dont bother "tuning" high-spec cars. (Like the R35). In most cases it just doesnt look good. Leave it to the pros. (And when you get better yourself).

Also, practice your rims.

Also, practice your rims.

Yes, be sure to take the rims from the same angle picture as the original is, but this isnt everything, dont bother taking rims from studio pictures, they usually dont look good.
When you have mastered C&P then start practicing brushing.
