The FIA has declared that both Red Bulls, Brawns, and Trulli's Toyota have been stripped of their qualifying positions. Kazuki Nakajima inherits P1 for the race tomorrow.

Nice job by Red Bull. Now, we just need the weights to see whether their speed was genuine.

Brawn must be struggling here they where off in every session, im guessing they were light with Rubens.

I think Webber is a bit heavier then Vettel he seemed to own quaily expecially in Q2 with a time only a tenth behind Vettel with the Hard tire.

Horner himself said on german TV that Vettel is heavier than Webber.
Webber was blocked by Kimi on his final lap, then in the press conference said he must have been either dreaming or drinking vodka
New track record by Vettel? Or is the track record only taken from the race itself? The previous one was 1:18.739 - M Schumacher (2004)..

From the race. Schumacher set it on lap 14 of that year's race. In that event, Kimi Raikkonen took pole position with 1:18.233, so Vettel's Q2 time was faster.
wow ! wait!

can someone tell me what happend ????

i fell asleep even before turning on the tv at 5am... XD

Watch it on TSN at 7:55 am like a smart person who knows he won't remember what happened at 5am cuz he's sleeping!!!

Well Sutil almost killed himself, Vettel's on pole, Button's 6th while his teammate is 2nd not sure. Webber got blocked on his flying lap by Raikkonnen and therefore only managed 3rd. /spoiler
The one race all year I'd like to see Button win, and he and Brawn screw up.
Quote from 5haz :The one race all yeah I'd like to see Button win, and he and Brawn screw up.

Nah it's not over yet.
You know damn well the Brawn's pwn in the race cuz they don't abuse the tires. We'll see. I think Vettel's gunna win from Webber with Barrichello in 3rd and Button 4th but anything can happen!

unless it rains so then it would be a RBR domination from flag to flag.... and kimi 3rd on the podium while drinking vodka

@ evil: i live on the west coast, so therefore 7:55 for you is 4:55 for me.... =(
fffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu BERNIE ECCLESTONE....
Ouch, forgot about that. :P
I'm having a BBQ tomorrow so yes its going to rain.

Rubens has no excuses, hes been given the chance on a plate to prove he can match Button's performances, and the Red Bulls too.
i dont think he can.... if he pushes hard to catch them he might spin and then button crashes into him....
button running a wet setup?

On sutil's crash, when the camera was in slow mo it looked like something came out of the rear of the car and flew upwards, might of been some rubber off the track or something, just seemed the right timing though.
Quote from DejaVu :button running a wet setup?

I've heard this too. He may be on a softer setup in case of rain tomorrow.

How the fuck is that possibly bernies fault? F1 is huge in the UK, so its on at the normal time. Perhaps you want every race to be in the middle of the night for all europeans, the biggest audience for F1, just so you can watch it at a decent hour?
Oh God... Nakajima 5th... I smell a T1 massacre :P

Vettel has in teh bag?
Number of the beast.
Having just watched the qualy replay (town during live), I have to say, I'am very happy!

Vettel, absolutely flying. Both Red Bull are looking really good. And also, Button finally not at the front!

Mclaren..... Well...... Why do they even bother with the rest of this season.....
Vettel did look absolutely superb today. I think Turkey was a bit of a wake up call. While everyone enjoys his happy-go-lucky I felt he just wasn't there mentally. Now however he's got his head down. button will have to make freakin' sure he finishes everyrace he can with decent points!!!
I think Webber has had a tenth or two on him through FP and Q and if it wasn't for Kimi at Stowe it would have been close.

After T1 it will be Vettel, Webber then Nakajima.
Quote from NotAnIllusion :So FI say they can't see anything obvious in telemetry, but looking at slow-mo replay, I'd swear it looks like the rear right tyre suddenly flattens briefly almost completely. Very strange :s

It looked like the tyre had deflated, that would explain why he didn't seem able to brake too. Maybe it was a slow puncture rather than a sudden failure, and that's why they didn't notice it in the telemetry.
