Where's the more exciting races we were promised?
Shut up fan people, go spin on it somewhere else.

The cool temperatures have well and truly shafted Brawn and handed the race to Red Bull. We'll see wether Red Bull's major upgrade is a part of it when we get to the next 'hot' race, where we will probrably see wether Brawn's domination will be restored or not. Either way looks like Brawn have made some mistake andRed Bull have made some gains, a deserved win.

Now hopefully there will be a championship battle as the ever improving Red Bulls chase down the Brawns, hopwfully Brawn keeping up the development pace so that they can compete with Red Bull right to the end.

Of course both teams must be careful not to get into the same situation as Mclaren and Ferrari did last year, battling and furiously developing their cars right up to the final round, then running out of time to develop a proper challenger for the next year. Of course this year developing next years' car should be easier because hopefully there wont be too many major rule changes.
So happy for Vettel and Red Bull in general. That kid is some serious talent waiting for his reward.

Very nice drive from both of Red Bulls.

Also, I am happy that Button is nowhere near the top 3. The radio "ahhhh I hate it, I cant do first corner full speed" just really shows how some drivers can become corrupt after winning and dominating every race and then not getting a fastest car during the next race.

Go Vettel! Well deserved win
Vettel FTW. Mark does it again with 2nd! Great showing by Barrichello too, as well as his compatriot, Massa; finally Ferrari gets their strategy right!

Are we going to see an end to Brawn supremacy?

Well if I was racing and I couldn't take a corner flat out and it was losing me time, I would probrably have a word with the boss over the radio, im not suprised win is affecting the cars, Silverstone is a very windy place.

You wait, if Vettel wins a few races on the trot now, everyone will be queueing up to shoot him down, for the crime of being successful, this attitude annoys me a lot.

It wasn't the time that Hit ferrari and Mclaren it was the direction, they went the KERS route and it killed them.

You're a bit late. It started the beginning of this season.
Quote from Mustafur :Silverstone is boring imo.

So were both Barcelona and Turkey after lap 1. And I wouldn't say Donington would be any better.
Oh guys, don't start flaming again...

Quote from DevilDare :Its Mclaren thats failing......

Braking on the grass is not McLaren's fault.

McLaren would be in a much worse situation if they had stopped developing last year. they may have lost the championship and still ended up with sh1t car this year. They won the WDC so IMO the development arms race last year was justified. Of course now people say they shouldn't have but they had absolutely no choice.

Today's race just goes to prove and set in stone that the real championship in the WCC and not the WDC. We had at one point Alonso, Hamilton, and (the people's champion) Kubica dicing for pretty much last place. And at the front Webber, Nakijima, and Barrichello.

I wonder how much the overtaking working group were paid to make the racing EVEN worse than 2008?
Great race for Vettel there. I personally like the way he drives. Today, he owned everybody. RBR deserved the 1-2.

And one more thing: RBR FTMFW!!!

Barcelona wasn't that boring really there where quite a few battle at the front.

Turkey was boring though.

Whens the next Intresting race Track?

I'm sorry but WTF!!!

Every driver wants to go fast, and when the car stops that it's obvious they are going to complain, if they didn't then you have to seriously question the comitment to be the best.

Also mind that Button saw his title contenders gain on him, so effectively you are complaining about a driver wanting the best.

Yes I am

I am going to be Button hater from now on

No, all I was saying is that, if he was in a honda 2008/7 or whatever, and he couldnt do that corner full speed, I dont think he would of been on the radio, well, shouting at his team.

Now however, when he got to taste the dominance, he is verry annoyed that he cant repeat it again. Well, probably everyone one of us would, but just saying.

There's a championship at stake you can't be all light and fluffy. Shit has to be said! The team know how to deal with it now no one takes it personally. If you do you have no freakin' place to be in a racing team!

To be fair he didn't have a Title lead to defend at any other point of his career.

Welcome to the Button Haters club!

I'm pretty sure he was, although we can't say one way or the other as we have no evidence (unless someone can remember exactly when the TV coverage picked up a lower teams radio conversation in the past 2 years which invoved Button complaing about his car...if so you are a nerd)

Well if its human nature, whats wrong with being human?

Still, Button did a fairly good job holding his position under pressure, something the likes of Massa and Hamilton aren't so good at.

Every racer hates when car just stop working. Why he must smile and say everything is OK, if its not?
Just got back from the race an wooo it was fun My seat was at Stowe so i got to see the hamilton spin+donuts, heikki and whoever it was hit each other, and whatever else happened at stowe . The lead that Vettel made up was just rediculous in that first stint, especially considering his fuel weight.

I must admit, i didn't want Button to win, because he often likes to go into weekends trying to make people think he is the underdog, when he isn't and by FAR. It's all good a driver winning every race, but don't come out with shit like, we don't have the best car or half the crap Button says. The first time he genuinly deserved the win this year, other than in Australia, is Turkey imo, he actually acnoliged that he wasn't the underdog.

Also when they did the track parade and interviewed lewis and Jenson, it was nice to see Lewis supporting Jenson fully and really almost like he himself was a fan of jenson too. The whole crowd almost went aww at that point lol.

The race can't leave that track, Donnington would be worse for overtaking i'd say, not as many long straights, even with the track changes. Also the organisation at silverstone was brilliant, getting in and out, especially saturday, wasn't too much of an ordeal. Although the directions to the park & ride carpark were completely rubbish.
Did anyone else notice how much Vettel said "it's incredible" in the press conference? Must be some sort of record! Well at least it's not "for sure"..

Also, I cringe every time Eddie Jordan asks a question in an interview. Jake and DC are all relaxed and jokey and entirely at ease, people seem to enjoy talking to them.. then it's EJ's turn..

"So.. uhh.. Felipe.. umm.. blah, blah, waffle, waffle"

And everyone's face instantly drops
Hah yeah, imagine if they had managed to harness the power of his mouth to run the cars.

Shame for Button though, I wouldn't mind if Vettel beat him at any other round, I just wanted to see a Brit win the British GP 2 years in a row.
vettel FTW !!!!!

he had no challenger today...

looking foward to the zee german gp
