Just a quick question, is the layout for qualy on event 4 mandatory? I've never used an alternate layout, how is it activated?

Yes it's mandatory. The layout's activated on the quali server, you don't have to do anything special there.. just join

If you want to practice with it first, then you need to download the layout from here -> http://lfs-league.com/misc/FE1R_dd.lyt

Save it into your LFS => data => layout folder. Then start LFS, go to single player mode, select the track and you should see the layout now under the list of configurations. Select the layout, click 'OK' and you're ready to go.

Ah I'd forgotten about the server layout, got practice confused with qually

Reminds me, must put in a qualifying lap tonight, been far too busy to do any more than 10 laps practice on the standard layout
