My suggestion is to make the "Look Back" control usable while you're driving the car from outside too. Sorry if you don't understand too much but in my opinion this control is used by most racing games.

You can look behind by enabling virtual mirrors - SHIFT + M.

if you mean like my attachment (done in shift U mode btw), then yeah, it would be good i think, although i am fairly sure that there is an addon app somewhere that allows you to do this.

You can also look back using the R key, although you need to be in cockpit mode to do it.

You can also use R in wheels mode too, however it will only work in road cars, not in "race" cars because of the HANS devices used in such cars.

A few patches ago the ability to press both left and right look buttons together would enable you to "look back" a feature I was personally very sad to see removed as it had been in LFS since the early days, and for G25 owners with only 2 buttons on the wheel means you have to take a hand off the wheel to do this.

Guys, no "look back" features work in chase view (outside car).

"R" and Shift+M (mirrors) does not work in chase view.

I've seen before the Devs mention that the chase view isn't designed for racing with so I don't think they will ever include mirrors/look back to chase view.
