The user "carey" is listed as from Northern Ireland on here and also on LFSW [which as it shares databases isn't surprising!], but the flag next to his name is the Jersey flag, not the Northern Irish flag.

I guess it's impossible to make it that easy to tell the difference between the flags of Northern Ireland and England. Theoretically there is actually no flag of Northern Ireland, the one being used is still used as such but it was officially dropped in the 70s without any real replacement. Then again, the flag of the United Kingdom is not specifically laid down in law, and before 1999 there were arguements about the German flag. Because in heraldry there is no difference between gold and yellow, sometimes it was metallic gold. Now it's specifically cadmium yellow.

Oh right - I just put "jersey" onto the end instead of NI and assumed that was right

If you're going to use the Ulster banner as the NI flag, at least make it differentiable from the English flag - like: http://www.mastersofendurance.eu/tracker/flags/ni.gif
