The amount of ad breaks and safety cars is a bit annoying :/ been at least three times they have gone to an add break under full green then return to full course yellow and then go to another add break almost immediately... sun is coming back out again so should be more interesting pit strategy again
Lap 137 getting really interesting now
Safety car lap 141, I've got no nails left lol
154 Murphs praying for a safety car
Safety car at 157 gonna be chaos 1-2 lap sprint to finish :X Murphs in 6th with very good pace.
Murphs up to fourth 160 just missing podium finish by a hundredth
Very good finish, I hate safety cars but at the same time does bring a lot of action racing
That second last safety car with 30 laps to go was unlucky for Ritter/Besnard & Skaifey/Murphy. If that didn't happen Skaife & Murphy could of won the race, i guess it's the one that slipped away. Damn i wanted them to win so much! I hope they pair up next year, they seem to work very well together.
But yeh Murphy did get up to fourth and what a charger he was. The Kelly's were looking at a podium with about 20 laps but the rear wing didn't help due to it standing on a slant or something causing it to understeer over the top.
I am very happy Team Vodafone didn't win four in a row lol
Also:
Pole: Holden
Win: Holden
Podium: Holden, Holden, Holden.
Top ten 9 Holdens 1 Ford(hog)
For our Overseas friends who watch V8's and missed the coverage, couple highlights for ya:
But what Sky don't tell you is that most people can't actually get Sky. We had 2 people come out and try to find a way of getting a signal, the only way would have been to put up a 60ft pole in our front garden and attach the dish to that.
Well suck it up princess, FORD shouldn't of told 888 their cars had to be predominantly blue...Now their factory ford teams (SBR & FPR) are a joke, big mistake from FORD. Roland Dane went with the money in the end, good on him. Ford want blue cars winning? Pfftt...
so if you wanna be a Ford factory team ur car has to be blue? that pathetic, no wonder there's more Holden's in the field than Fords. 888 and GM is a faultless combination as they've shown over here in UK. Lets see if they can repeat that in Australia
