i also had a dream, ive been to london taking pictures of mountains from a bus window but there always were trees in my view so i was angry, then i woke up in a bar realizing that ive got a needle in my arm so i told myself yeah that was another hallucination i should stop taking drugs...
and then i woke up for real...
Aah, dude that post makes me sad. It reminds me of how exited I was about Racing Legends. And how that dream faded away slowly and silently, like a fart in a breeze. A dream the clearly was a dream, too grand to be realised. But yet, I hoped and I prayed.
And now, seven years later... you bring that still chafing moist wound on my soul to my attention again. Thanks, douche.
But really, what a sad feeling it brings to me I can hardly describe. Desolation is a word that comes close. Fleeting dreams that got diluted by the wind so they can never be grasped again. Lost forever and even the fond memories tainted.
GT5 with a G25 is absolutely fantastic in terms of handling, physics, and of course graphics. I'll never forget LFS, its still a fantastic sim, but is starting to look dated when compared with other sims, and with a patch that was supposed to be out in a week just under two years ago it does make you question the development speed. I have no doubt in my mind that the patch will refresh LFS especially with the new tyre physics but surely a test patch wouldn't be a bad idea, or at least more regular and detailed updates than "we're still working on it". Estimated times are good too - just no release dates.
Its good but Its not a Sim with Real Handling !
I play it some days and in my opinion its only a Semi Acarde racer like the other GT Games too. Nothing change really big. They have a cockpit now and every Kid think wow its Real. No its not. It looks only Phantastic, but i wanna feel the cars i move, not look at it in replays.
GT5 is a CARPORN.
