Your race driver fitness programme
Does anybody have a specific routine? Being a big fan of bodybuilding and race driving the two physiques don't really go together very well!

So from now on my time in the gym will be focused more to building a racing drivers physique.

Question is, what do other people follow?
well, I kind of walk a lot and sometimes run, it helps my legs endure the many uphills and downhills here.
Some basketball training/practice is helpful too, because it makes you more agile and helps you respond well to anything thrown in your way.

Dunno if I responded well to those questions, but I sure tried my best.
Drive a lot. You'll be stressing the muscles you need, and none of the ones you don't.

I encounter the same thing with motorcycle racing.

That probably will have side effect on your body balance though.

Buy an KZ2 and drive as much as you can

And wear heavy clothes when you do. Put a heavy jacket over your driving suit and wear thick longjons. Get used to heat.

It's more work than jogging but it's the only way that I know of to get those specific little muscles.
