Make up the next line, it has to scan, it has to rhyme where neccesary and it must involve a subject familiar to LFS forum users.

I'll start with the first 2 lines:

In what universe do any of those (except the first day, which is a bad syllable match but at least does rhyme) sound like the original?

"Rockingham" does not sound anything like "rings", "wrecking" does not sound like "doves"...

It also says 'where neccesary'. I took that to mean where you have a rhyming couplet in the real song, you need one in your line, not that your line needs to rhyme with the real one.

Thinking about it, the only real rhyme in the real one is in the first part with 'true love gave to me/partridge in a pear tree' which I've already cunningly rhymed with XRT. Carry on.
