MoE 24hours of Aston grand prix : the blacq cat is still following E-Team !
The checkered flag of the 5th 24hours of Aston has just been shown and conclude a new amazing unlucky race for E-Team #44 FZR GT2. After a good qualify made by Morgan "MoMo" Trollé enable E-Team to start 5th ahead of Inferno, 3id, CoRe...But the first bad new was the give up of Jean François Sébire who was quite demotivated after his troublfull iTCC event last week. Unfortunately, after a safe start losing 3post, Trollé couldn't avoid spdo car in the middle of the track, causing major damage in Lap 1 ! Already 1minute lost after only few minutes. After a good job of Trollé, Vallée took over the car in ~10th position but loose connection. back in 13th E-Team manage to be 9th thanks to Vallée and Bankhauser after 12hours and catch Inferno GT2 cars hours after hours. The gap was about 3s when Vallée took over Trollé at ~9:00 PM (french time UTC +1) but...Vallée loose connection for the second time ! Bitan and Adriaenssens reached finally 11th after a nice move with #49 Xcite Racing team.
So again an unlucky race for us, but lot of fun and good drivers

iTCC Round 1 : The Nicolas Vallée and Pierre Peron show !
Two drivers from E-Team manage to qualify for iTCC 2010 round 1. Nicolas Vallée and Pierre Peron have done good times in shootout 1 to do the main event with a wonderful 2nd time for Peron just behind Worm. Unfortunately Peron didn't have do so well in qualify, starting 23rd but Vallée started from 3rd row and avoid first lap massive wreck and finished 3rd of the first race ! Peron was involved in a crash and finished 21th. In race 2 Vallée was crashed in Turn 1 but he got DQ few seconds after for having forgotten the ballast...in fact Nicolas Vallée can't speak english very well and doesn't understand what admins said. After an amazing start Pierre Peron was in 7th position but he had to give up because of a personal reason :s. In race 3, Vallée started last and finished 8th after a pretty nice race with several good fight for positions. In championship standing Nicolas Vallée is 9th and locked in for Round 2. Well done !
E-Team nominated for two LFS awards !
E-Team has done several league since February 2nd, 2009 when Crash_burn and MoMo92i created it. Indeed E-Team won Grand Touring Amateur League season 2009 with 1 pole, 2 wins and 3 podiums whereas Morgan Trollé won LFS Endurance Series in GT500, Jorge Pinheiro in GT350 and E-Team for Teams championship. These good result enable E-Team to get a spot in MoE GT2 class. This fast improvement enables us to be nominated in community awards for several awards : Best new team and most improved team ! Don't hesitate to vote for us !

In order to celebrate his first year, E-Team invite every LFS fair driver to a special funny event called E-Team Master of Karting. It will take place on February 2th 2010 at 20:00 UTC like that :
20:00 : Qualification in a random combo for 20minutes
The combo will be chosen about 5 minutes before the start of the event.
20:25 : First race at AU1 with E-track layout with MRT
20:40 : second race at AU1 with E-Track layout with MRT
20:55 : last race at AU1 with E-track layout with MRT
E-track layout is a track in "E", will attach the layout tomorrow but it can be found in Eteam server. For these races MRT will receive a special restriction and setup to make it seems like a karting that every driver will have to send to admins during the rollong start procedure. Each race will start with a rolling start procedure. The first race will have FZR #08 GTAL 2009 winner in Pace car, second one #01 GTAL 2010 FZR and last one #44 FZR MoE.
Each event will be broadcasted in E-Team web tv.

Happy birthday E-Team !
First of all today is the E-Team 1st birthday ! Indeed one year earlier Ludovic "Mr.Crash" LeHenaff and Morgan "MoMo92i" Trollé decided to creat this motivated French team specialized in Endurance from their old french team which was full of inactive member.
In only one year E-Team manage to grow up really well ! The first race of the team was LFS Endurance Series season 3 race 6 at Fern Bay black were 3 E-Team cars were but only one finished, driven by J. Pinheiro and finished 2nd in GT350 class. The first E-Team podium wasn't a long time after that and it happened in the GTAL test race were T. Le Revert and M. Trollé conclude a good race in 3rd position. Our first win could have been in GTAL round 1 but unfortunately B. Whitcher have had some troubles and the FZR #08 was logically DQ after the race whereas it crossed the line first but the week after that M. Trollé with the help of J.F. Sebire from RENESIS team won the round 7 of LFS Endurance Series at Aston GT (9hours race) with their XRR #101.
Since this April 11th, E-Team begun a victoryfull period continuing with LFSes round 8 with Trollé again, then Dubois and Trollé won another two races in the GTAL at Fern Bay black and South City and finally E-Team was clamed GTAL champion after a big controversy and another podium (2nd) in the GTAL final round. Moreover Trollé & Pinheiro won two of the three driver championship of the LFSes.
In September 2009, E-Team have new challenge : Indeed we were accepted in MoE, the best LFS league and started another GTAL season with our FZR #01.
Unfortunately this new season wasn't like the other one and our beginning in MoE was quite disappointing with a too much errors 12th position at Kyoto GP and a too unlucky 12th in SO, and the last unlucky 11th in the 24 hours of Aston. GTAL was quite the same with a really bad 18th at Blackwood and an damagefull 12th at SO. But of course there was some better races like this 7th position at Westhill in MoE and 4th at Kyoto in GTAL and these 3 podiums for N. Vallée in LFSes.
But E-Team drivers raced in iTCC too with a nice podium for Vallée in Round 1 race 1 and a top 5 for Trollé in round 2.
So...a plenty first year and Happy birthday E-Team again !

A new driver in E-Team !
We are proud to announce and to welcome Sean "xtraction" Williams in E-Team.
Morgan Trollé said "We were quite impressive of his motivation for GTAL's South City round doing more than 600 laps ! We thought that this is exactly the profil we wanted : a good driver who reach to improve by training seriously for the race".
Sean have already raced in IGTC for TDRT and in GTAL for Optix and finished 12th of his first race for E-Team with Pierre Peron.
A birthday race tomorrow :
In order to celebrate his first birthday, E-Team organise some race for fun tomorrow evening. Two sprint karting races are planned.

E-Team will try to catch a top 10 in the next MoE races which will take place at Aston Historic Reverse (AS4R) on february 13th. Hervé Dubois, Fabrice Bankhauser, Nicolas Vallée and Morgan Trollé have already begun the training !

After the race of Blackwood, E-Team is going to take part of the last DoP season race : 24hours of AS4R. Two cars will defend the E-Team's colors :

Vallée and Trollé throw the carnage !
The second round of iTCC 2010 took place at Kyoto National ring. 3 E-Drivers managed to race in the main race : N. Vallée (9th in points before this race), P. Peron ( 2nd of the Shootout) and M. Trollé. Trollé manage to qualify in top 10 whereas Peron was 16th and Vallée 23rd. The first race was quite safe exept for Peron who was involved in several crash. Trollé finished 10th and score his first point in iTCC. Race 2 was like hell ! But Trollé and Vallée manage to avoid wreck and scored points ! Morgan finished 5th and Nicolas 10th. In the 3rd race Nicolas wasn't able to keep his pole position and lost all his chance after he misses his brakepoint in lap 8. Morgan couldn't be better than 12th because of a strange car with the ballast.
A new fail in GTAL :
After the nice but lucky race in Kyoto, South city's one was another disaster. First, E-Team receive a 5 post penalty in quali from previous round aborded start. Then Peron made the pole position (1.34.99) but unfortunately chat while he wanted to leave the server causing us to lose this time and start 11th instead of 5th. Sean Williams who started the race because of F. Bankhauser internet troubles (@Yann Laprevotte : another France Telecom friend !) spun after the safety car deployment, back to the back of the field. Pierre Peron took over in 12th manage to overtake several cars to be in 6th after 2hours but he needs to fix damage meaning E-Team to be 12th finally. (provisionnal results).

PLFS Winter League 3 : Le Revert domination !
4th round of PLFS Winter League season 3 took place at Fern Bay 2. There was only one E-driver : Tony Le Revert. he started 2nd in race 1 but manage to take the lead in T1 and keep the leadership the whole race. So he started last in second race but manage to finish 4th. In championship standing Le Revert is 2nd and N. Vallée is 4th. E-Team is 2nd.
And finally a top 10 in MoE !!
Finally we 've done it ! Indeed E-Team crossed the line in 6th position of MoE GT2 6hours of Aston Historic Reverse ! This time we change our philosophy. We decided to be more "endurance" than "masters". So we have developped a setup with R3/R3 (we were the only FZR with these tyres) to do more than 1hours. After our first try it seems that the tyres were good for 1h30 but unfortunately, FZR use to much fuel and it was impossible to do ! But anyway, few teams manage to do 1h stint. We tried to do as we have done last season in GTAL, trying to be the most endurance as we can and not the fastest on track (i.e : 5th best lap time in SO4R and finally won the race) and it paid ! We avoid crash (exept my 2 nice spins) and disconnection and of course puncture ! Almost all the teams were faster but have had some tyres problems which mean spin, puncture, bad times...and we won't ! So without being the best we caught 6th position ! This is the best result of E-Team in MoE and we are proud of our race (with low training :shy.
TDRT 6 hours of AS4R (again) :
Valentin Adriaenssens, Sean Williams and Morgan Trollé have just took part of an endurance race well organized by TDRT team. They have done this race in order to prepare the DoP 24h races (next week). So it was like a free practise with the stress of the race, blue flags...#44 FZR finally finished 4th but it seems that the team can do really better next week : the fastest time was set by Morgan in 2.19.12 and he manage to do several times 2.19. Moreover this race enable us to try several set up possibility and to choose the better one. So this race was clairly positiv and we are going to be ready for the DoP 24 hours of AS4R !
E-Team birthday race :
The races were quite funny with 8 drivers. race were close and we could have seen some nice fight. Finally Jordan Grégoire from E-Team won the 2 races and do the pole whereas Fabrice Bankhauser and Morgan Trollé manage to take 2nd position in race 1 & 2. Zeugnimod from SR complete the podium of the two races. Thanks to SR Team, Zeugnimod, Boothy, Michal Saidl, Yann Laprevotte for coming and gratz to everyone !
Streamng will be available next week, we apologize for being so late but one of the commentator can't speak normally (thanks winter lol)
