I am making a h-shifter out of an old joystick.
its pretty much working, using Virtual H-Shifter 2.3c, but, the thing is, when the gear is engaged, i keep hearing that "no button assigned to this function" sound, inside LFS, and is driving me nuts. However, it does work.

I tried to put all the the interface volume to 0.0, but i can still hear it, just not as louder as before.

I assigned the following keys to the gears :
1st - A
2nd - S
3rd - D
4th - Z
5th - X
6th - C
Reverse to a button on the wheel.

Is there any key combination that is better ?
Or how can i stop that noise ?

Somewhere in this forum there is the same questions. The solution was to replace that audio file by an empty one
