Hi. This just started happening. Whenever i would try to open lfs, it wont start in fullscreen, it would be in a small window. I can make it into a maximized window, but not full screen. Whenever i try to make it full screen, it almost works then it minimizes. I have a nividia 9600 GXO graphics card running on windows 7 ultimate x64. Any ideas?

And, do you have anything opened while playing? If yes, try closing everything. Maybe something tries to take over your screen. Or maybe it is a virus.

This problem has something to do with Windows 7 Desktop Windows Manager. But nobody has found the real cause of the problem yet

Well, I got it working... I closed my msn, skype, vent, steam, and firefox. (lol vent and steam :P) Plus i don't have a virus because I just started off on a new os and haven't downloaded anything shady. (I get scared whenever i download something shady:shy Thanks guys

You don't have to download something "shady" to get a virus. You get get it from a picture which contain infected line...

i have notice that lfs minimize when firefox is opened
i talk about the newest version of firefox (V3.6)
didnt test it with the previous versions

Mmmm, is possible that I first suffered this issue after updating my Firefox

But I have always Firefox opened, and the bug still seems to occur randomly

But why do you need anything except music while playing?

Why may I close everything to play?

I even use hibernation, so my Firefox, open folders, etc are open for weeks.

As said before. Its Firefox causing this.

It sometimes recovers if you quickly hit shift-F4 while going to LFS full screen. LFS switches back to windowed mode and if you shift-F4 again it goes fullscreen again without a problem.

But its not a good idea to have Firefox open anyway, especially while using Youtube. It consumes CPU power and a drop in framerate @Live for Speed.
