Google "Used Cars" on Google.co.uk. You find all sort of odd sites but some have a few cars.

Big 3 are AutoTrader / Pistonheads / eBay, though.

Have you looked at some of the owners clubs?
Most UK car dealers advertise on both Autotrader and ebay, searching those will give you the most hits, there are a few smaller sites (parkers have their own ads), but their selection is smaller, and normally just the same cars as AT and ebay.

Owners forums is another source, thats how I sold my bike.
sorry for asking a somehow dumb question, but why would one want to have a super-powerful RHD vehicle as a daily driver? Doesn't sitting on the "wrong side" make everything very difficult, especially in dense traffic?

Not really, I've done a fair bit on driving in Europe "on the wrong side of the car" and its no biggie, infact the only time is can be a little troublesome is overtaking.
Exchange and Mart

Their website doesn't have a keyword search as far as I can see (epic fail), but it's worth a look through some cars there.

On the subject of used car websites, is anybody else getting annoyed with the amount of junk on Auto Trader? It seems to have more popups, and fancy adverts by the day, which seem to massively slow up the whole website

Thanks for all the answers so far. Ive found that there is a good search option at the Skoda website for dealer approved used Skodas (with warranty and stuff).

It has some power but its still an economic engine (1.8L Turbo) and its like The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing. I like that.

I´m sure it needs some time to get used to RHD but i practice with my G25 already . The first series Daihatsu Copen was also sold as RHD in germany for example.

The point for RHD is... with the current exchange rate and other factors ... for this model used you can save like 50% of your hard earned money and new its also much less expensive

Is the Skoda warranty transferable outside the UK?

I asked the dealership about this and they said its also valid outside the UK.

Well i would also buy private if there is service history etc car looks fine no problem. Just if the car isnt as mint as the owner said you can fly home for nothing But that can also happen if you buy cars from the other end of germany ... Flights are cheap nowadays.
