I'm having a serious error with my network speed.
I pay for 60Mbit/sec download which roughly stands for 7MB/sec download speed. And 10Mbit/sec upload.

At the moment my internet connection, pooped down to the following:


Download
Download of a file (128KB ~ 1MB depends on your connection)
From a server in The Netherlands:
11.0 KByte/sec
(=88 kbps)
Upload
Upload of generated info to a server in The Netherlands:
6.2 KByte/sec
(=50 kbps)


Does anyone know what might causing this problem.

The bills are payed, try to reset Modem and Router several times, but still it's poop like this.

Call your internet provider first, then look for problems down your end.

at first try step by step pinging your route...your modem/router, then its gateway, etc,...
problem could also be in your router for example, try to connect without it (if it's possible)

if nothing really helps, you should call your ISP, there might be a hardware malfuction, or if you use fiber connection, common problem is fiber-metal converters...

also check your pc for viruses,spyware,...
