For reasons I dont wish to go into, I need to get a plug for this connector:



No identifying marks at all on the connector (I have both ends - but need some more of the female sockets) to work out who made it.

How do I go about plugging stuff in? My idea was very small crimp spade connectors but my Dad reckons thats "dangerous" (wiring is used for a very low-power car amp).

Is there any company who will be able to make up a female version of the connector block, and what sort of price it would be?

I would just go for mini spades connectors if it were me (presuming you know where each wire needs to go of course) and although i see your dads point in principal, spade connectors can look a bit messy and bodged, but in all honesty fully insulated mini spade connectors are no more dangerous than a proper connector block.

I know what each wire does so spades aren't an issue. He also mentioned heat being a problem (although I don't think it will be, tbh, the wiring is very very thin so it can't be that high draw).

The problem is that I would like to sell my handiwork, in which case a proper connector > spades... but this is only a hobby thing.

Furthermore the listing says "30 way connector mates with a 12 way and 18 way plug" which is exactly what I have (30 pins, 18 on one and the 12 on the next plug).

Where do I get the female version?

that is the female version?(suppose it depends how you look at it) if your after the other version just send rs an email they may be able to help or let you know who there supplier is
