Yesterday I decided to try the smoke mod that I had on the new patch.. what's the worst that could happen right? Well it turns out the worst that can happen is you lose all your settings, and then also your current "player" in LFS...

Now I cannot delete it from within the game, also cannot make a new one with that name.

How do I delete it from within the game folder? I want to get rid of it and start over with a new player in LFS.



nnammed" identity.. I will rename it to "BWX" when I delete the broken BWX player.

Word to the wise: Don't run the smoke mod EXE and then start LFS- it will destroy your game.

The best way out: Just unpack your LFS to another directory, copy there your car setups, content of skins and skins_x folders, unlock again - voila, LFS is fresh and cool again.....

Dont forget to delete that corrupted version

Well I don't think it was corrupted- just the player file, which I found and delete- now all is fine. Thx though.

Happened with me once... actually with my brother's player.
