Stab me if there is a topic about this allready, but I could not find one.

Well, Youtube has allways been very shifting, but the last months have been a nightmare. Only a very few videos actually load proberly. Also, by changing resollution it makes the videoloading to hang up half of the time.

Anyone experiences the same problems, and if not - sollutions?

Adblock+ kept causing the video to not load. I disabled it, and got a nice 30 second long commercial, then the video itself.

As for it hanging up, I think the video has to load all the way before switching to full screen. I too have had this problem.

I've had no problems at all except for some pretty slow download speeds which probably go on account of my crappy ISP. You sure you have everything up to date, particularly Flash and all other browser plugins you might be using? Do you use some strange uncommon browser?

I am using flash 10, and tried both with FF and IE. IE seems to load faster, but genereally the videos are more sluggish..and I like FF more

It has not allways been like this, it's just the last months that has been really crappy. Also did a cross checking on 3 computer we have home, there are some variables but generally the loading of movies is very bad.

I usually have around 17000/10xxkbit line, and the ping tests is all normal. Can it be something connected to the home IP adress? Tried without the routering and right into modem on all three computers - no changes

Can't really say anything on that. I have such a slow connection that youtube is slow anyways

Did some more testing, and the speed has no change on it. Tried both a test with heavy load on the line, and a other with none, still same result. Also deleted cookies.. no better results

He fixed the problem. He was just on youporn instead of youtube.

And no, that snake game doesnt work on youporn videos Brandon.

Btw, more searching on this problems, seems a lot of people lately, at least in Norway can confirm it's shitty connection to youtube nowdays.

Its freaking terrible. Things all over the place and info that I use taken away and replaced with stuff I dont care about. The ****....

My subscription videos are all over the damn page. I was wondering how come I havent seen any new releases from one of the channels, only to realise I have to press "Load more" to see other subscriptions because they decided "Recommended Videos" should be more important to me...

I know you can press "Subscription Uploads" and get only your sub videos, but whats the point of that? It was completely fine the way it was before. Why do they always try to fix things that arent broken.

Totally agree with you, the new layout is a horrible mess. I liked having the various quick links in the right corner, such as inbox etc. Now I have not been bottered to find out where it is lol.

Lolo, ive used the new layout for like a month now. Had to use it since on old layout - i couldnt see the comment section etc.

Its kinda crap, but meh ... also, im having some speed issues atm. 360p buffers at around ~500kb/s while every other resolutions go on about ~5kb/s. Anyone else have the same thing?

The resollution thing I am familiar with. Sometimes I just must refersh the page 20 times before it loads normally. Guess their servers can't handle the usage

i just watched a video and ran it at 360, 480, 720 and 1080, and it seemed to load the same speed for all of them... dunno, i'll try again when i get home from work.

Whats exactly the flash version you use?
Try also some new graphic drivers because its some month graphic cards accelarate video from youtube/flash.

It works fine, no speed problems here. I like the new layout, few clicks and it's totally fine...

Using FF and flash 10. Tried IE... 8 I think and Flash, same results, crap loading. Delted cookies, even tried a other computer same results <.<

Flash 10.??? version. Try as well the graphic drivers due to what I have said above. With wprking GPU accelaration you get max like 5 percentage CPU usage.

I use Opera here 11.00 build 1156 and all flash videos works like a charm. Have 15/1.5 Mbit net.

Everywhere else it's great, it's just Youtube that won't work no matter what I do..

The computer shouldn't have problem loading the movies neither I think.
