A PS3 here with VAT is like £200. Xbox is less. Where as, as I've said before!!! (FFFFUU), those components would cost about £800 with VAT. Thus you could buy a PS3, Xbox 360 and a regular sort of PC for the same price as some components. 1080p on my TV and I can't really tell much difference between certain games because my 21inch widescreen monitor isn't enough to give me the extra clarity.

I have a ps3, 360 and pc. I have different usages for all. But for fps gaming the pc wins hands down, regardless of hardware. On console it's so easy with thumbsticks, and the quality of players online is very poor. Plus I didn't spend 2K for the pc to just sit there and gather dust like the ps3 + 360 ;P
The resolution and quality of those pictures are enough reason to play the PC-version.
