Hi guys.

I set LFS up on my other machine so my brother can play as well.
It runs flawlessly with a full grid on single player, but when you play online (even LAN) there is a distinct 1 second pause every 7 seconds.


I thought it maybe CPU, GPU or RAM related but the CPU sits at about 20% online, RAM is at 42% usage and the GPU has no issues running the game even at the highest settings im pulling 45 FPS in single player, full grid.

Seems to be network related since its only in LAN and Internet games it happens. Ive used Wired and Wireless from the PC - Router and its the same either way.

Any ideas?

Try reseting /reinstalling your router
If that doesnt work then there maybe is a problem with your internet connection if so then i would visit your internet service forums or email a technition about the problem.
If none of the above work then maybe you will have to buy a new router.

try reducing your max guest down to 2 when you set up your host and see if that helps

I think i have had the same problem. Try shift-f4 into windowed mode then back into full screen. Somehow for a random reason it worked for me so maybe it'll work for you!

Router seems fine, i can play LAN with my GFs Laptop no problems.
Perhaps ill try another network card in the machine, tho its the same Wifi and Wired

Makes no difference if im hosting or its an Internet game.

Sounds strange, but Ill give it a shot.
