This may sound funny But I wanna know if there's any way to be placed at the back of the pack of racers on the starting line for each new race? Or is it just random? Most races I see everyone piles up on the first corner so I try to hang back and let others pass me off the start line then after the corner I floor it to catch up. Alot of times i get placed first in the startup line and If I go for the first corner fast I brake to avoid rearending someone then someone hits me from behind or the side. I like starting from the back of the pack so i have plenty of room to brake and dodge crashers so it would be nice if there was a button to push to place you last.

What I used to do was spectate after each race and then join in after the grid was sorted. Of course that only works when there are less drivers than the grid size... (or you get the "race full" message).

You can swap the grid places if the race was starting off the lobby, but not when it restarts while on track...
