I have a similar problem, did you solve it.
I think the problem is with me in control panels lapper and the server is running on a different IP but same port 63935th How have you got. Thanks Dejan
The very first thing you should be doing is asking your server provider why lapper is not working with LFS as they are the ones providing you with the service.
This assumes they provide support for support for an InSim addon.
Failing that, you could also see if you can find a file called setup.cfg on the server.
Then see if you can open it.
Look for the following:
/ip=12.34.56.789
/insim=98765
/port=43210
Above numbers are made up, but should follow the same format.
Then look for a file called LFSServers.cfg.
Then see if you can open it.
Should look something like:
Check to see if the ip address and port numbers match in both files.
Please, please, please!
If you decide to change something, then make back-ups!!
Firstly - did you ask your server provider for support?
Secondly, and most importantly - remove both the image and the lines of text in your post as you don't want the wrong people knowing your server ip and port numbers, otherwise things could get hacked.
The line
DEF1 | gr1 | 127.0.0.1 | 29999 |. / Default | default_1.ini | autowork
This is what you would use on your own (home) pc.
The 2nd line that starts DEF1 looks the correct one, except there shouldn't be any spaces in the port number (the 5 digit number starting with 6).
What error message do you get when you start the Insim service?
Also. Look in the default_1.ini file and make sure that you've put in your server password.
I'm sorry for the problems you are experiencing at this moment. We are having some problems with our clientarea panel. We are doing the best we can to get it up and running again as soon as possible. You can contact me personally on [email protected] (also my msn)
