Love this add-on! The main reason i didn't buy a G25!

I noticed than once I have finished playing LFS and closed MomoLEDs the lights on the wheel remain off. Any chance you could change it so it leaves them on by default as a reminder that the wheel is still turned on?

Well, you should still get a G25, even if that means no LED mod. The G25 is sweet sweet sweet.. and shines with LFS.

But theres no big reason to go from the MOMO Black to the G-25, he likes the LED Lights, the wheel looks better (personal opinion), it has more buttons, the Wheel is thicker, and if he wants a H-Shifter he can get one for $60 which is way better than the G25 one. He might want to save money and buy a Professionell Simulation Steering Wheel in a couple of years instead of buying yet another plastic wheel which will wear out with time.

Actually you're wrong, there are more than a few reasons to buy a G25 over sticking with a Momo...

Also you're wrong about it being plastic- The wheel is Aluminum and leather.

Did you forget that the momo has 240 degrees rotation and the G25 had anywhere from 40 to 900 - user configurable?

It's also much faster, has stronger FF, and dual FF motors with anti-backlash gears.

The pedals are are metal as well (with metal frames), and there's a clutch pedal (hello, big reason right there). The entire pedal base is 500x better than anything Logitech has put out to date.

That doesn't even take into consideration the 6 speed + reverse shifter, which isn't the best, but works well and is flexible.

The paddle shifters are better too, they're metal, and have a better shape.

The shifter is what puts me off the G25 - I've heard too many stories about how weedy it is.

Still, it looks like a nice quality wheel for the money (shame about the lack of wheel-face buttons), and a three-pedal set would be nice. Ah I just can't decide.

i never broke mine, if you think its that weedy don't use it, you still get a kick-ass wheel and pedals!

Yeah you could always just buy or make a gated shifter pod and just use the buttons on the Logitech G25 shifter, or put it in non-gated mode and use it for a hand-brake lever.

The SPEED is what makes the G25 better than any other FF wheel- along with the extra rotation, but you cannot have one without the other- that is where the DFP fell flat on it's face. I've had a Driving force ORIGINAL (Formula force GT clone with more buttons), BLACK Momo (Momo racing), a DFP, and now a G25, there's no comparison. G25 owns all- even w/o the buttons on the wheel. I too would like more buttons and was one who moaned about it, but since I got the wheel, I really don't care. It's good enough that the sacrifice is minimal compare to what you get n return.. ESPECIALLY in LFS.. the G25 was made for LFS FF.

Well I have the Momo red and a 2006 Act Labs shifter. I did almost get a G25 but as I mainly like single seaters the clutch, which I was originally very keen on, lost it's appeal and of coarse the 900 degree rotation doesn't matter much for single seater's either. Also from what I've heard the Act labs is better than the G25 shifter. Lack of buttons doesn't bother me as much as lack of LEDs on the wheel! So I'm happy with what i've got. If my wheel broke (nooo!) I would probably try and buy another red Momo on ebay And the Momo red looks fantastic too!

No LED's on the G25 wheel. Although there is 2 LED's on the shifter. If these can be used i have no idea and i see no point in using them either.

Oh I see, yeah I see what you mean, that isn't much help if you wouldn't obviously see the lights when concentrating on driving. Maybe something like a pit limiter light though would be worthwhile? For customisation sake...

Well. I read for plenty of problems here but not one of my kind.I put the exrtra lines check them start the game get a few flashes at the begin and then nothing.When i close the game and open the cfg again everything dissappears.What's going on????Plz i really want to use that prog.

What do you mean by "everything dissapears"? Does your cfg fle reset to how it was before you made the changes, or does is the file empty?

You have changed the "OutGauge Port" to 56551 in the cfg.txt in your LFS directory?

Yes i've done everything several times but it just resets. Why??? I got tha momo racing black.

I think I've seen my LFS cfg file reset when I've adjusted the settings while the game was running. So make sure the game isn't loaded when you change them. Other than that I'm not sure what's wrong I'm afraid.

Again the same problem. Maybe the driver has sthing to do with that?? i got the last one 5.01 i think.Maybe the shifter??

I had a black Momo. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly first time. It could be because LFS isn't compatible anymore (changes to in/outsime), new drivers aren't compatible anymore (no idea what version I was using), or your PC is configured badly. There's not much we can do to help, other than suggest you check the above things and/or contact the original author.

And sthing i forgot.I use s2 alpha version.

LFS is still compatible, I was using it with my MOMO Red until a few weeks ago. Not sure what version of the Logitech Software i was running, but it's the latest one.

Edit: I take it you're using Patch X?

The is only one version of S2. But there are various patches, the latest of which is patch X. More specifically "0.5X10". On the LFS home screen (where it says Trainint, Multiplayer, Single Player etc) what does it say version does it say at the bottom of the screen?

That's quite an old version. You should download the latest patch (X) from www.lfs.net.

I'm assuming you have an S2 licence and your profile hasn't updated for some reason. But if you haven't then do buy it, LFS is a bargain at £24 in my opinion and the money goes straight to the 3 developers, who have done a fantastic job.
