Car Physics Model Modification
Hello,

As a member of a Formula SAE team, I was wondering if it is possible to modify (or have someone skilled modify ) details of the MRT5 so as to make it more directly resemble our team's car.

We have lots of data that we would love to integrate: steering ratio, track width front and rear, wheelbase, cg height, polar moment of inertia, f:r and l:r weight balance, hp/tq curves, tire data, aerodynamics, and more. Seeing as I have no idea how LFS simulates vehicle dynamics, I don't know how applicable this information is, but we would love to make any changes that would make the MRT5 handle more like our own car; even if it's as simple as changing the max braking / lateral accelerations to match our cars.

So my questions are:
Is this possible?
if yes, to what extent?
Can I do it myself? (very basic coding experience with c++ and basic)
If yes, what software do I need?
If no, with whom do I need to speak with to have it done?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
-Tony
Try LFSTweak, it'll probably let you modify most of what you need.
Since the most important variables in LFS Pro Tweak are only alterable on the FBM and the XFG XRG, I am doing my best in altering the FBM until the point where it is a FSAE car, but am running into an issue with the weight. When I drop the weight to 375 lb ( -2.1 setting in protweak), the car flies away...can anything be done about this?
