Hi, for some reason i cannot get any picture when i plug my hdmi cable from my tv to the xbox. I have tried swapping the ends around, resetting the display on the xbox but i have had no luck. However, when i plug the standard AV cable that is suplied with the xbox 360 when you buy it, I can get a picture but the quality is poor. (which is why I bought a hdmi cable). Now the hdmi cable has worked in the past and I was able to get a picture and able to play games etc..but I do not know how i can fix this annoying problem.

edit: My tv has just said 'Information: out of range' when it is on the HDMI source...help

I've tried that but it still doesnt work . But i managed to get the display settings back to facory default settings with the AV cable plugged in but when i plug in the hdmi cable, there is still no display...

I think you need to set the output to be "hdmi" from the xbox settings instead of the other outputs...
