The online racing simulator
Quote from BigShox :Hey guys,

So we are now 36% of the way there (according to Steam).

Early next week we'll be updating the games page with new images and video in an attempt to push our votes higher =)
We're also going to start a discussion page on Steam for ideas, wishlists and comments as we're thinking of also starting a Kickstarter campaign (when it goes live in the UK at the end of this month - no more having to have a US bank account). We'd like to add online championships and a livery editor, amoung a few other things...

...and we're keen to find out what other people would like to see in our 'historic racer'.

will there be a beta? I would need to try it before I bought it. Also I would love to see the ability to possibly buy the ability to create tracks if you guys have a track maker. It would help you out a bunch if you allow "modding" if you understand what I mean.
Dedicated servers like lfs? or more like xbox styled join and play?

I would highly Suggest making a topic on Trackforum(the Biggest American Open wheel fan community on the net), I did one recently but i couldn't explain much because i haven't even played the Xbox version.

There will definitely be a Beta. Getting Greenlit is just the start.

Once that happens we will have access to the Steam SDK and be able to integrate all of their matchmaking, leaderboard, friend and statistics features. That will need testing - along with the 33 player multiplayer. We expect Beta will last a few months in itself which will give everyone involved lots of opportunity to help shape the final version of the sim.

Initially we are looking at peer to peer (Xbox style), but once we see the SDK we'll be able to make a call on dedicated servers (it all depends on what Steam allows within the SDK).

Thanks Mustafur, that's another great idea I didn't think of! (lucky I don't work in PR )
I'll get in there and try and make a thread
