Quote from Mazz4200 :Think i'll head on over to RSC and ask them if it's pronounced "Gran Prick's Leg-end's", but i have a feeling i know what they'll say

Now that's interesting.:ices_rofl
Quote from NotAnIllusion :I se it "Rive foa Spid", bicos I cannot pronaunce it propari

My boss is from Japan and this is exactly how he would say it . I'll have to ask him, hehe.

What is really funny, is he writes his emails the same way he pronounces stuff. He once asked me in an email to pull a box out of the second low (meant row) of inventory. We also have a crack setting on the presses, which he is always suggesting we change the "clack" setting, both verbal and written. We have alot of fun with him and he takes it quite well .
Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :Hmm. In the LFS Garage, the same character map appears to be used for 0 and O. And it's a taller shape like a 0 not an O, but being the same it's not conclusive. The same phenomenon is on the LFS Main site in the cars section, but then the character is more like an O in all situations on the website - the inverse of on the LFS Garage screen. Interesting. LFSW is the only place I've seen that... Perhaps even Victor doesn't know what it's called

Besides, FX- OH is silly... What's next - FZ FIVE-OH?

It's FX-OH, because it's a letter, it's FZ-Fifty because it's numbers

I remeber way back when, before S2 came out, a pack of screenshots were released of the "new" FXO, and the name of the .zip on the site was "newfxoshots.zip" I think that settles it

Brilliant!! Still wetting myself at that one!! Best thread in the forum this and there is no arguing or bickering for a change!

I would never have considered that would 'live' wire in a million years but the more i think about it, i can see how it would be quite easy to do for someone not so fluent in english... but without a doubt its the other way!

Also,
Whether FX0 is a letter or a number i say 'oh' as thas how i say my numbers! (yes i got told off i primary school for that! )

and if i got round to having breakfast regurlarly it would be cereal!
Life for speed.
Some of my French friends pronounce it as in "live racing action"

Oh and by the way, the admin command parameter for enable/disabling the FXO is .. FXO

Alright alright. I was wrong (sigh)

I guess it's FXO. I think it should be changed in the next patch though!

EDIT: Then it should've been FXT, match XRT. What's with that "O" anyway? It's just not right. This is going to take some getting used to. A period of adjustment is necessary. The universe feels unstable all of a sudden.

Just wondering how many out of the 15 people who voted for option 2 are serious.
I guess many of them are from Austria, because pronouncing it the correct way sounds really weird for people from Austria
And... why that?
from now on its pronounced leeve for speed.

yes im serious.
