The thing is.. Once the update does hit.. LFS will have some life revived into it. The tyre physics alone will be enough for a lot of us. Then I'm sure there will be more content than just the Scirocco and Rockingham. It makes sense.
reasons im still playing lfs
1 - due to many good friends from all over the world thanks to lfs
2 - i got bored of playing with barbie
3 - i tried the others and didnt like them(iracing+cars)
4 - once using the textures by people like lynce ect the graphics are good
5 - i suck at racing in real life
the s2 side of lfs may seem or becoming dead but the demo side increases all the time which i know many will probably stick to demo but every so often a few do buy s1 or s2

I have put around 500 $ into iRacing this last year and we are at least 20 000 active members who find it well worth it and i dont even own 100 % content yet, no need to get angry just because i find iRacing well worth the money.
But if you dont want you can spend way less than 70 $ for a year of iRacing, around half that and you even get some money back for participating in official series.
But as i said LFS is very good and almost free, i dont know what your problem is since im not spending your money on iRacing and we agree on LFS as a great sim.

i dont have a problem with you i have a problem with their retarded system. i play iracing too and i find it shit,well lots of ppl actually who play it. But lfs is very good indeed but very very boring now,and imho new update wont do anything. they killed it

Only reason for me to keep playing LFS sometimes is because the way cars feel are yet to be beaten by a simulator, and it's just simple and accessible to everyone, in contrast to iRacing.

when I think better, there is no reason to play LFS, the game itself is biggest reason.... LFS 4ever....

Wow.... been a while since i last visited the forums...
Well, my 5 reasons are as follows:
1: Best goddamn racing game out there! No other RACING game can match it. There are quite a few good sims out there (i for one am a serious ETS" junkie) but for racing, this is the S"#!
2: It starts Before you press the button. Seriously, on my SSD it starts incredibly fast!
3: I gotta have a racing game to play with my Carrera GT steering Wheel :-)
4: Still waiting for the new tracks/cars/physics and so forth. I haven't given up hope.
5: The multiplayer games are extremely competitive! Serious business!
The ability to race for 6 hours non stop is exhausting and a LOT of fun :-)

I don't play it that much, mainly because I cba getting all the G25 stuff out. But I still have interest in the development (may it be slow)
