Ive seen alot of simple skins that IMO dont work and dont look right, but i like that. It simple and looks simple but looks clean also as not full of sponsors

I recently caught the LFS fever and have been practicing offline trying to improve my skills for the inevitable jump to online racing. In the meantime, I've been working on my personal livery. It's based on a livery from the 2005 24 @ Daytona. My PS skills are definitely lacking, but I think this came out fairly well. I welcome all comments.

Some cool skins here, just thought I'd add a couple of points:

Sgt Flippy, good stuff, looks very close to the real car. Saw you driving it on KY Nat yesterday and thought it loked good, at least before you wrecked it :P

xwolfx, I like the paint scheme, its simple and effective, but I think you need to pay a bit of attention to the way the skin stretches the logos at various points on the body.

As i said to you on msn, nice skins. Especially as youve only just started.

About the stretching on the FZR, yes I know, but thanks for noticing anyway, I am changing it, and will upload ASAP but the XRR skin has no problems.

Cool. Yeah I did notice that the xrr version was fine. The fzr template is more squashed than the xrr which is a pain. Suppose thats the price for skinning such a sweet looking car

Everything is a pain when it comes to getting a skin to look right. But hey, the end result, when someone comes to a server and they say "Hey Black Wolf! I love your XRR/FZR skin! Great work" thats when you know you did a good job. So enjoy.


EDIT - I have started work on FXR skin with Greboth. Should be done soon, and hoping to be best skin yet.

Got bored and couldnt think of any new designs for a skin so i used 2 old skins to make a new one. With all the skins about this has probably been done before but not AFAIK.
Let me know what you think (the orig skins can be found in this thread)
