Since 6B its allowed to place start position in hotlaps. This is good because you can start from downhill, and have lower clutch temperature

Or just save time where last split is too far away from start line.

Or maby more reason to start closer to s/f line is that, tyre temps are more correct than loose alittle on the way to it ?
