Lets get into gear for some footy predictions. They tell me its time for the world cup again. Only seems 4 years since the last one.
I have the semi's panning out as follows:

Germany V France
England V Brazil

Seems pretty inevitable from this that Germany will meet Brazil in the final and go 1:1 to a penalty shoot-out which will be clinched in a nail-biting finish by a superb effort from Ronaldinho. Roll on another 4 years.

I don't think that Germany will make it into the finals, but as being german myself I tend to see the things a bit pessimistic, which is kind of normal for most of the germans

I think in the same way.

Maybe they will survive the group phase, but at the latest in the quarter final, they will be out.

England, Argentina, Brazil, Italy are my candidates for semi final. But then again, Holland, Czech Republic and Spain are also there.

The bookie's odds place Germany third in the rankings so far, so I think you have less reason for pessimism, they will put up a very strong fight on their home ground! Surprisingly England are second (behind Brazil) and i think that is our nations over-optimism.

Maybe you're just a bit too afraid of us germans, when it comes to football

We won't make such a suprise as we did last world cup (coming to the finals)

Too bad that Marco didn't take Huntelaar with him

I prodict the same Al, but if the team is fit, I see us giving Brazil a good game. At least, we have a proper goalkeeper this time around, and not some Long hair Freaky People that gets chipped from the half way line

I dont really follow football (rugbys better haha - gets flame suit)
And i should be patriotic but i cant see england having any chance.

Maybe all LFSers should chip in buy an island and make own football team.

They put 2 big walls in the defense in every game and were lucky to use one of their 2 or 3 chances to make a goal.
