Quote from Shadowww :Firstly, you need some basic GFX card to render to side monitor(s).
Secondly, you need freeware app called SoftTH.

The card you might buy could be ZOTAC GeForce 8400 GS.

I thought only the main GPU does the rendering, and the outputting side GPUs just output the video

Oh, it's just typo. Sorry.

I didn't know Gigabyte has a motherboard called 'very good.'
Is it any good?
Intel core 2 quad Q9550 2.83 GHZ FSB1333 12 MB
Corsair 4 GB DDR3 1333 CL9
Asus P5q3
GeForce GTX 275 896 MB, 448 bit
WD 500GB (I got over a TB of external HDDs, didn't need a big HDD inside)

Runs stuff normally, still thinking of upgrading after next payday

very
Well, i'll take a pic of my setup...

gonna go out and get some things for it and open it up for ya guys...

^_^ plan on getting a GTX285 (best gfx so far...) sooooo things should improve. ^_^ at least some things..
Haven't played LFS2 for about 3 years, but I'm feeling the urge to get sideways again (and Dirt 2 is taking its sweet time).

Just bought a new rig for video and photography. Funny how good video editing specs are sufficiently adequate for gaming

Core i7 920 2.66GHz
Gigabyte Ex58-UD5
12Gb OCZ DDR3 1333MHz RAM
Gigabyte GTX295 1796Mb
Vista64 Home Premium (Win7 on the way!)
1x 150Gb 10K WD Velociraptor
2x 1Tb 7.2K WD Caviar Black
Living in a Coolermaster Storm Scout

Driving a
30" Dell 3008WFP 2560x1600
and for the moment, a single
20" Samsung 204B 1600x1200(its twin is waiting for a 2nd graphics card and a bigger desk)
When somebody makes a VESA triple monitor stand that will hold a 30" and two 20" screens, I'll buy it (it might be cheaper to make one though).

Crashed into tyre barriers with a Logitech MOMO.

Hmmm why only a 9600GT Jason?
It was quite a bargin when I got that, it plays LFS @ 100 FPS+ at max settings and most other things I play at medium or better.
Upgrading soon again maybe. I spent most of my disposable income on a trip interstate to drive a V8-supercar next month, the rest is tied up in shares..
my 7950gt ko died today,so i upgraded to a gts 250 oc 1gb,the rest of the pc is the same, but not for long, time for an upgrade soon.
Minor ish upgrade - PC#1 now has 2x 20" and a 22" and there is a 17" LCD TV lying around I dont know what to use it for.

PC#2 has come with my to Uni and has 1x 20" and 1x 17".
Getting a Palit GTS 250 Green Edition 1GB which hopefully will work. I will also be getting my old 17 inch monitor back to use as an outgauge.
doesn't "Green edition" mean underclocked?
Quote from dadge :doesn't "Green edition" mean underclocked?

lol, is overclocking risky? if not how do i start?
Quote from logitekg25 :lol, is overclocking risky? if not how do i start?

Nvidia, go to your nvidia control center and BAM overclock it.

Thats how my ATi works, but i don't know how it works with nvidia.
1, yes, if you don't know what you're doing.
2, you start by reading up on the hardware you have and how to overclock it (properly).

Post your "LFS" rig..
