I experienced some problem with lfs on my friend pc, when I opened lfs for the first time I have 500 fps but the second time i exited lfs and do some browsing in internet when i returned lfs was in 200 fps max ?? anyone have experienced this strange fps drop without reason ?.

cpu and gpu temperature is pretty normal, so there is no overheating affecting performance.

pc: intel core I7 2600, 16gb ram, GTX 750 ti, windows 7 pro 64bit.

hum I found that GPU stay on 135mhz when fps's drope , any idea why ?

I'm not sure either but I noticed that for quite a long time now it happens that sometimes GPU goes into power saving mode even if its not the case (LFS running fullscreen, temperature is ok, etc)

ALT+Tab always pumps up the freq back up, but its really frustrating if that happens at the begginning of a race, because you have to wait for it to finish and drive with shitty fps.

hm I found a solution, if you have Nvidia card go to nv panel > manage 3d setting > globale setting > power managment mode > prefer maximum perfomance.
