Yea, I'll say! Last time I was on a bike, which was the first time incidentally in a long long time, when I got to the crossing trail 12 miles away, I turned around and went, "Huh, great, now I have to get back!" My biking usually involves riding with the 5 year old, so it's usually only a mile or two and back. And that can take us up to an hour.
You won't have heard of it - Habeas Corpus - basically it's 3 young-to-middleaged men who are sexual deviants, 4 women who are married/besotted/mistresses to the men, and a couple of younger people, one male one female, in the middle of all of it. It's a comedy, but has some serious morals at it's core.

And I'm too young for the lead role, so I'm auditioning for one of the others - either a vicar that looks up girls skirts (called Canon Throbbing), a guy whose job is to inspect and check on girls using his companys bra fillers, or a young guy who is a hypochondriac.

Either way, it's showing in October, so loads of time yet...

Quote from tristancliffe : After that, when I get back, I'm gonna learn the 350D I'm using for piccies,

Easy...
Big green square = full auto.
Icon that looks like a bloke running = sports mode.

AV = Aperture priortity [auto shutter]
TV = Shutter priority [auto aperture]
M = Full manual

Figure out how to adjust the ISO via the cunning marked "ISO" button, sorted.

My day:- Get out of bed deal with the mail, head down to uni, argue with the porter over when the building will be open to clean up after the show. Wander around the all the seperate elements of the degree show for the eleventy millionth time. Take the mickey out of the performance artist dressed as a mime clown [again]. Ring the person supposed to be keeping me company to find out why he's not. Tell him to get out of bed & put phone down. Scream burger at the Friary pub. Back to uni, discover my companion has finally turned up. Play "bowls" with two plastic bottles of water and a flip flop [made sense when we were bored].Snap a few pointless photos. Solve lack of paint crisis for somebody from BSc Product Design. Come home, eat, discover thread, post reply.
I'll be using full manual I think - I don't like the thought of using a proper camera and allowing it to guess what I want. I've done a fair but of photography when I was younger, so I'm more than happy to do it myself. But it's the other tricks, like image type/quality, and getting myself used to it - you don't have a lot of time to change settings otherwise you miss that important moment. If it were scenery photos I'd just learn as I went. I don't want to be flicking though a manual as Montoya spins in front of me

I'm impressed. Did you know that, or did you look it up. Anyway, I'm off now to the audition. Have a nice evening

Heh, nice little bike ride

Last time I went for one, I left my house at 8am, with nothing more then the clothing I was in and a bike. I didn't get home until 10pm. One hell of a ride, but that night the shed got broken into and my bike stolen, not rode since.
I did that every day I could, and on weekdays it would be from 4pm to 10pm, a much shorter ride, but I had fun anyway. Thinking about it now, no one I know would think I'd be able to do such things, as I do so little.

Actually, my bike riding can extend anywhere from 100-400 miles. Never said what kind of bike . Mine is an 83 Honda Nighthawk CB550SC (www.geocities.com/mrodg88).

An update to what I'm doing, well, same old thing. Still stuck at work extruding the polyethylene. Don't have a polyethylene screw for our R&D extruder, so, it's running really really slow. Another 200 pounds and I'm outta here. That will be probably 3 more hours . Nice overtime pay though, 4 extra hours last night and 4 extra today. I'm bored, so I figured I'd spam up this thread a bit. All I have to do is sit and watch out the office window the polyethylene strands run through the waterbath. Fun fun fun!!!

Lazyness I could do that on a pushbike. This is pretty much what I used to have, in all black. Nothing special, just a standard bike. I was planning on getting a sports bike (something around 500cc) and taking a road trip around Europe, but the guy I was going to do it with chickened out of the idea, and it's not something I'd do alone. So like an idiot I spent the cash I saved for a bike on my PC's, and getting other such junk.
Since I've done a little spamming myself in this thread, I'll just spam once more. I'm finally done! Got in at 6 AM and it's now 6:10 PM. Of course, I rode the bike in (the one that goes vrooom, P5YcHoM4N) and of course it was beautiful out until just 5 minutes ago when it starts pouring down rain. Always my luck, beautiful out until I'm just ready to leave.

I'm outta here folks, cya on the servers tonight.
Change of plan now. We're doing two plays.

First - something serious (Black) I can't remember the name of and I've left the script downstairs, but I'm too young to be considered

Second - Black Comedy. I did this during my A-Level's (extra curricular, I wouldn't do something as useless as drama as a qualification ) as the Colonel, but I think I'll be auditioning next week for Brindsley's part. Awesome play, can't wait to do it.

Leaving for Silverstone tomorrow morning, so enjoy a weekend without me, not that that'll be hard....

Actually, its a little over 3 miles... And I forget the last time I had fast food...But, like I said, I'm outta shape. 8 months of substituting crappy residence food with beer will do that to you. lol
gah, beer, a girls drink
I've never been in shape (I've always been way, way under weight, regardless of how much I eat or how little I do), but I have too much stupid energy

Right now, I'm doing an assignment for uni, about to get a coffee, and setting up -=The Fish Bowl=-
