Issues with Ferrari 458 Italia wheel (Srsly??)
I am having some issues with my Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Italia wheel. This happens in Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, and now Live for Speed?? I just got it as a gift and this is what happens?

So basically, the tiniest movement of the wheel is detected in these games and either causes the red area of the turn axis in game to twitch in place a little bit beyond the middle, or go all the way in any direction. This is very annoying and I need to get this fixed immediately!

Please help ASAP, any help is appreciated!

I have the full-lock part of your problem with my DFGT sometimes, although fairly rarely. For me at least, it's just a problem with the calibration of the limits of wheel travel, ie if I've only steered 10 degrees either way since leaving the pits, then LFS thinks 10 degrees is full lock. If I've steered 20 degrees, then it thinks 20 degrees is full lock. Steering the wheel all the way in both directions shows LFS the real limits and thus fixes the problem. Very occasionally I'll also need to re-centre it too, in the axis setup screen.
88 Miles since 2014 and this must be fixed immediately as this is clearly a LFS issue......
Yes, on further reading of his post, clearly not a LFS issue, however he's American, so this is a critical LFS support ticket.....

Step 1: Unplug and install the correct software.

Step 2: Plug in and follow instructions to set up the wheel.

Step 3: If it's still not working, post meaningful information/ error messages/ list of what YOU have done to resolve the issue, then we can help you further.

Have a happy day.
To those asking about drivers and software this wheel uses the Microsoft xbox 360 controller driver and does not have its own specific built driver nor does it have any software related to it.
The only possible thing I could think of causing this is the variable switch/dial sticking which would require you to take the casing from around the wheel and cleaning/
Its a fairly simple job to do and I have had to do it myself a while ago
