I've had this problem in LFS quite a long time now and have not been able to figure it out. The textures on the road appear hazy and fuzzy. The following picture shows what I mean: http://i14.photobucket.com/alb ... 2006-06-0722-59-04-21.jpg
I've got a GeForce 6600GT running 1280x720 resolution. I had the same problem when running other 4:3 resolutions (I was using a monitor, now using a projector). The red texture in the picture is custom, but the same thing happens for other textures like the white lines on the side of the road. It's just more apparent with the pit textures, so that's what I used as an example. I'm running 4xAA and 4xAF, but it happens even with both settings turned off. I've tried all of the LOD sliders and the MIP slider to both extremes with no change. I've also tried turning mip and dither on/off with no effect.
Does anyone know what causes this or what settings I can use to fix it? It's really driving me nuts now that i've got a huge screen to play on.
