It all started with a joke from my teammate "is ataturk a pornstar?" as some where talking about ataturk.

I had to google ataturk

But then it went crazy and some time later we got taken down 2 times last time i monitored connections for maybe 8 seconds 60k ip's tried to connect to gameport. (like there are 60k peeps in lfs from all over the world) luckily someone was proud off it. (see attachment)

But I believe his friends checked ports as we got same problem today

I don't know how to solve this (I mean there isn't much to do against a bot net)

Anyway Always loved to host but like this is bah. And when this continues i might stop.

I saw ciMin at FM server, he said he got permanent ban on your server. Only thing he explained was that Celeritas had been saying some racist things against him. I was hotlapping so I didnt ask him anything

Nothing to explain, cant see any decent proves that he ddosed server. Free ban for getting triggered by b2r member.

Yesterday same thing happend again clearly botnet absolutely no isp problem. and again on gameport what I changed.

For mikke a txt source and destination little explanation normal use is little ip's just the guys on track and they have more packages. check how many ip's it was just recording few secs.

For u i will up yesterdays behavior when ready as it takes ages to create a source and destination file.

While I'm confident you're probably just trolling, there is no blind blaming going on – from the replay it is obvious enough ufoandaliens knew what was going on. Also, we don't need to play stupid here – any similar incidents are most likely to be related.

Is there an option in your firewall to start dropping all new connections when the rate of new connections starts to ramp up (to say, 10/s)? It might not help with the line getting bogged down, but it could keep the server application alive – although it does require capable hardware to handle that amount of traffic.

I searched for options today what to do But maybe u can help PM please.

Ehh... Not gonna fight anymore... Time to pray for other servers. This is just a joke already... Started in 2017 and only getting worse and worse. Maybe try to do something that will help... Half servers Has **** admin rights and using them to abuse(becoming trigger) others almost daily. Maybe its time to clear list and give admin rights to only few(not every team member), not to others because "they are friends". Then think about new rules.

Your silly rant is way off-topic here, where the issue is a single touchy and unbalanced individual (unfortunately part of the small community) resorting to actions that are criminal – at least in my jurisdiction – for his perverted pleasure. Now it's clear few want to interact with such people, but the whole issue has nothing to do with administrators at all.

This sounds like the case where the 9-year boy took the gun of his parents (this happened in USA, surprise) and shooted his sister after getting triggered by her. Big guns do not solve anything, they just amplify negative energy.

We don't need more wars. Everyone of us want to enjoy life and enjoy other people.

Humor is not easy to master among different cultures. We should understand to not take anything too serious here. Its just virtual reality, and if feeling bad, shut down the computer and take a break. Go back to real life and do something meaningful.
