Hey all,

Most of the time in the brazilian server ( #LiveForSpeed UOL LFSBR s2# / there is two of them) we have fair and clean races, with few or no accidents on T1. The only problem we had was yesterday. And that is completely explainable: we are having a XFR/UFR Cup, and the next race is Aston Club. And that is a completely famous combo. So the server was full, with half brazilian/half foreigners. Guess what? The foreigners (probably people who don't run regularly in League Events)kept crashing over and over again.

The good part is that on 80% of the time there are admins there (I'm one of them, we have more IgorBK, CarlosHWrobel, SpeedSoro, JSCorrea and AngelBR), so we can partly handle that. But we follow some rules: first we warn. Then we kick. And only then we ban. The bad part is that until those 3 procedures are completed, the wreckers already wasted some good races, and went bother someone else.

i cant say i've ever come across racers that call someone a noob

of course we come across those guys that run over everyone at T1, but thats quickly cleaned up in 1 or 2 tries

lol i think you guys just land up at crappy servers or something, the only bad servers i have ever come across since S2 was released were the oval servers, which were clean for a while, got worse, and after the BF1 was released i joined for a second just to screw around, did about 2 laps, and it seemed to clean up since i last saw it when it was terrible

I have only been racing on LFS for a few weeks and yes there are a few T1 accidents and the fast boys pushing you out of the way but once you get a bit quicker it is no longer a problem.

I raced real cars for several years and wreckers were never a problem but i bet they would have been, if every driver could rebuild his car at the press of a button with no cost involved as per LFS.

When a wreck costs mega bucks its strange how you try not to have one.

One thing that could be done is to not allow people to rejoin races by pressing pits and then going out again. The number of times you see someone wreck themselves and someone else, then pit, go out and wreck themselves and someone else, then pit, and so on.

I think thats fine to do this while you qualify but not during a race.

You should only be allowed to join a race more than once.

I remember the very first time I unlocked my S2. There were like, I don't know, over 400 servers. I was like "Oh wow so many options" but I was so wrong. Later days I released that nearly 300 of 400 are always empty! So I setup my server filter and the thing I saw was the awful truth! Without empty and pravite servers there are just 30-40 servers which I haven't seen a clean race at none of them. I guess the LFS world is like the real world, people only care about themselves and don't know there are the parts which make the main part. Don't know they are making it bad.

I really like this game. It's a better joy than many other sims IMO. I just wish it was like they told us..

The difference is that in S2 licensed servers there are no people who stand in the racing line and try to take you out. In the licensed servers crashes result from a lack of experience, not from the desire to wreck someone.
I had lots of racing incidents in my S2 career, but not a single intentional wrecker.

Oh, and if there's one thing I dislike, it's people who begin yelling at lesser experienced drivers or even vote to kick them. Admins should begin to permanently ban those people.

@birder, i think once we get more realistic damage and such

and hopefully destroyable parts that actually take time to replace lol, we will land up sitting in the pit boxes and land up having to leave races (not servers, just give up a race)

that would be fun for enduro races

thats why i want LMP cars so we can have good endurance races
