Hi all,
Sharing as a suggestion to the devs and in case this helps anyone else.
I have a Thrustmaster T300RS and initially the force feedback was inverted. I would turn right and the wheel pulls right. I have this problem in other older PC racing games like rFactor too.
LFS doesn't seem to have an option to invert the feedback like rFactor does. And other users seem to have had this problem too.
My solution:
1. Open cfg.txt from your installation folder in Notepad++ or your favorite text editor
2. Find FF Step Num and change it to a negative value.
-256 seems to be full force. I have mine set to -96, but I'm still tuning it. Changing this to a negative value seems to disable the strength tuning in game and in the cfg.txt.
3. Repeat after exiting the game (the value gets overwritten upon exit sadly).
If the devs could add an option to invert this like you can the control axis, that would be awesome!
