Use @sc to alert administration to look at your car or the section of track you were in when you use the @sc command. The command will tell the administration what location you're at.
2. Communications:
All drivers are required to be in the NDR TeamSpeak server: teamspeak.newdimensionracing.com - Race Control messages will be broadcast to anyone in a channel in the Pit Wall in TS. If you would like a subchannel for your team or friendly drivers, please let us know and we will create one.
Make sure you have your race number and/or your LFS username as your nickname on TeamSpeak
3. Driver Naming:
Be sure to be in your proper name format Number (grey or white), space, then First initial last name [eg. 00 J. Palmer]. The name may be in colour.
4. Tracker:
Timing will be available and running on http://tracker.newdimensionracing.com.
5. Wind Conditions:
Low wind for all sessions, except Pre-Qualifying.
6. Pit Entry and Pit Exit
All cars entering or exiting the pits must use the warmup lanes at all times. All cars must also keep all parts of the car to the left of the blend lines on entry and exit.
Cars on the course may cross the blend lines, but may not use the warmup lanes.
7. Qualifying Procedure
The qualifying session is closed course - cars only allowed out at race control command.
Each driver is afforded one opportunity to complete an outlap, one flying lap, and one inlap. Drivers will be called in order of the driver's championship. Any late arrivals will go at the end of the session.
We will afford 20 minutes for drivers to arrive and take their qualifying run.
8. Race Start:
The race will have three unscored formation lap, followed by a double file rolling start.
When the default LFS lights turn green, pull away from your grid slot and follow the safety car single file. At the one lap to green signal, the field should form into double file, polesitter on the inside (left side).
Rows should be generally even, with at least one car width between row-mates. Rows should be spaced approximately 3 car lengths apart. The leader must hold 80 kph pace from the time the SC pulls off until the green flag is called.
On the RACE START ONLY: Overtaking is permitted at the green flag message.
In the event of a wave off, the start will be tried the next laps. Two wave offs are allowed, the third start attempt will be a single-file start.
9. Track Boundaries
Competitors are allowed to go below the white line at the bottom of the track. Drivers must keep all wheels off of the grass, and by extent, the tarmac areas that intersect the grass. For the avoidance of doubt, where no grass exists, a yellow line has been placed. No driver may go below the yellow line, except in incident avoidance. Gaining time or position by going below the yellow line with any part of the car is protestable, and reviewable by the stewards.
10. Safety Car:
On Restarts, the Safety Car will pull away from the field after Turn 2. It must not be overtaken before it crosses the 1st Safety Car line.
The leader controls the pace on the restart, and may accelerate at their discretion.
You may not overtake until you cross the start finish line.
11. End of Race
After finishing the race, please slow WELL BELOW racing speeds after Turn 1 and proceed to pit lane. The WINNER ONLY shall report back to Start / Finish Line for podium pose.
12. Miscellany:
Do NOT under any circumstances Shift+P or Shift+S during the race without authorization from Race Control, unless you are in the pit lane.
Please post any procedural questions in this thread.
Good luck!
