I've made many stability and flight time tests trying to make it simmilar to how it behaves in real life. But if you find a better setting on these things, where its more realistic with weight distribution and it flies better, please contact me - You cant really control it in mid air, LFS is not made for airplanes. But you can slightly unsettle it using throttle and brake, just like bikes when on air - Changing gear ratios wont make difference because wheels will stop touching the ground when the vehicle hits around 60kph air speed - For making it fly, do not add wind, it will make the plane unstable and wont help in anything. Go down a slope, like BL2 straight, just before the bridge, or the big straight in Aston shown on the video above. You can also make a platform well above the ground and just drive it off there.
