Not everyone can edit a pdf and send it back, that's why I kept the entry docs in .rtf - some people dont have MS Word either so I couldn't use .doc. It had to be .rtf or .txt which are natively system readable and editable.

Besides i'd just done a two day slog doing the web page ! Next year you can have fancy entry forms
RAC as safety car? So what's deployed when the safety car spins? lol
Quote from Becky Rose :The XRT class is now full.

Some entries are not yet confirmed and these will be chased soon so that space can be made for drivers who want to enter still, so some spaces may yet open up.

I'm taking names still for those spaces which will also be a reserve list for race entries because getting 19 people in the same place at the same time is nigh on impossible (ask any employer) so drivers at the top of the reserve list will likely get to race more often than not.

Driver interest in this series has been overwhelming and i'd like to thank everyone for being so positive about this series.

Darn, I was gonna sign up for the XRT class, thats cheeses me off, but I guess I'll redo my entry form for a RB4. Bah, now I gotta skin for it too

Is there a way to enter as RB4, and be a backup for XRT, so if a XRT doesn't drive, to drive as XRT and have a RB4 backup come in?
I did cover with your PM but as it's been asked here - yes basically i've entered you as an RB4 but I have a car waiting list too and have put you down for an XRT. However once the first race practice session starts you are locked to your choice of car.

This way if an XRT space is available i'll move you over to that class of car.
Any space left?

If dawesdust is the only RB4 driver then there should still be two RB4s left without a driver.
Remember, the RB4 is very competitive compared to the XRT and it is a lot easier to drive. I would have chosen it myself if I hadn't fallen in love with the XRT .

Tell me about it, I spent two hours so far dialing oversteer out and have reached the conclusion that the best solution is to drive ruddy slow!

Sort of, there are more than 19 entries at the moment but as some are not confirmed entries (spaces reserved by team mates) I think some will open, also because getting 19 people to the same place at the same time is nigh on impossible (those of us who employ people will relate to this) drivers at the top of the reserve list should have no trouble racing - already 1 driver has explained they can't make the first round on that date.

Therefor if you want to enter still that's fine, but do it quick, because pretty soon the reserve list will grow and there will be no point taking further entries.
Todays evening one more RB4 entry will be send
So you just send an entry form with the prefered car and number?

Read the website of the STCC and take a look at the entry pack for additional information. Make sure you read the regulations before applying!

Yes please We can sort skin out after you have a confirmed car and number. I'm at work at the moment so I wont be able to confirm numbers until I get home later.
I´m at work also, and I´ve spend my time today with reading this posts here and the website and rules. Later I´ll finish the skin and send it with the other stuff.
ok, send me a quick email with your preffered number and i'll book you a slot in the reserve list before it builds up too much

"Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails" :\

huh?! reserve list? I thought for RB4 class were places free?
I don´t prefer any number, give me one
Quote from ferox.CHIEF TAOA :"Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails" :\

Just copy + paste it onto a PM.
My email is in the entry pack, I dont list it online because of spam bot harvesters
Those drivers who have reserved spaced but have queeries on their entries or who have reserved spaces for team mates but havn't contacted me should please submit a valid entry form as soon as possible as there are drivers waiting to take your place.

-*-

The entry list is full and there are a few drivers on the reserve list. You may still apply to join the STCC and go on the reserve list but you may have to wait for drivers to leave the series before you get to race.

I'm sorry if anyone is dissapointed by this but it's simply impossible for the team to offer this series across multiple servers because of the post production work involved.

At a later time I/we might consider running a non-media non-broadcast division 2 (basically same regs, a clerk and post race stewarding), especially if we get a lot of reserve drivers - but I havn't put this to the staff team yet, I just thought of it now because I dont want to dissapoint people and i'm still getting numerous entries a day (although this post might put a few off!).
Quote from Becky Rose :At a later time I/we might consider running a non-media non-broadcast division 2

What about running XFG/XRG in the division 2 and giving it a little media attention as a support race?
That would require as much work as making another broadcast league, only for a much smaller final output, and if there's one thing i'm never doing again it's [attempting] to organise a league like this! Lesson learned! Far too much work

Isn't the safety car normally slower than the race cars? Like the UF1, XFG, or XRG?

Yes, that's why Becky drives it!

The pact car in major series is usually provided by a car company wanting to have their car on show. F1 has done wonders for Mercedese for instance. In this case, I chose a car that would look good on camera.

In terms of speed it just wont be driven flat out, but it does mean that I can belt it at the end of the in-lap and get out of the way of the leaders (although experiments with this whilst sorting out the setup at Fern Bay Green proved fatal!).

Who was that driver I had an unfortunately collision with at KY Nat in the OWRL Vain? I was trying to pass him and he was so much slower I mis-judged it ! ... (two can play your game!)
It's 1am so i'll keep this brief

I just finished setting up forums for the league, they are not linked from the site yet, you can view them here: http://www.simtouringcarcup.com/talk/index.php

If drivers register with your series name I will grant you permission to post in the drivers area, likewise for staff who see this post.

I have massively updated the entry list but it would take a few hours to upload and i'm going to bed! So it'll wait until tommorow.

Drivers and stuff will get an email soon confirming what i've just said here and encouraging you to sign onto the forum.

Turrah for now.
Did you want A. Laidlaw or is Alex Laidlaw fine?
Either, the forum isn't too strict the only reason I suggest you use the same name is so that I know who you are and grant you access
