We are four weeks away from the start of the fourth installment of the Open Endurance Cup. This time, the league is an exclusive GT2 league with final restrictions still to be announced. Another change after the two year hiatus is the format. A 20-minute qualifiyng session will precede the three hour long races. The series' server is again kindly provided by New Dimension Racing.
The season commences on 13 Jan 2019 (16:30 UTC) at the Kyoto Ring with the so-called "North" open-configuration, that uses the oval's infield and its turn 2 in clockwise direction. The usage of a custom pit lane is a first in the league's short history and the unusual layout will provide some interesting challenges. The following three rounds will feature standard reversed configurations in South City (SO5r, 10 Feb 2019 16:30 UTC), Blackwood (BL1r, 10 Mar 2019 16:30 UTC) and Westhill (WE1r, 7 Apr 2019 15:30 UTC).
Today (16 Dec 2018) the signups start (at 16:30 UTC) via Live for Speed Racing Leagues. Signups will stay open until the start of the final round.
