A week ago, on the Monday 2nd December's evening was held the 11th round of the french league. After only 2 weeks of pre-qualification, we saw MRc's JSK on pole for the 3rd consecutive time. The Slovakian racer had to get back his top position on the money time again after getting the best of FSR Team's new recruit, Kip, who got his first front row for his second race only. Surprise on the grid as Proxima and Donald were on the second row, putting the championship leader, KingOfIce only 5th, in front of DLV. Nanex, System, Aposki and L.Rydh were completing the top 10 of a 17 qualified racer grid. L.Rydh (10th), Daf (11th) and Papator (16th) were the 3 drivers missing at the start.
JSK took a good start off the grid, but not as good as Kip who was on his side, and also not as good as DLV who flew away from his P6 to be P2 on the MRc drivers' wing at the end of the first lap. Kip kept it 3rd meanwhile Donald took the best of Proxima, and System was not too far away. For KingOfIce, infortunately it was already not his round, after the streaming technical issues at the NanexTV where he ran to try to help, he totally missed out his start, creating some chaos... NFR's Geraxi couldn't avoid the blue GUM car, smashed it on the rear wing and ended up on Yorry rear wheel, sending the Bulgarian on Tomfuel's rear wing... KingOfIce had infortunately had to reset the car as he ended up all 4 wheels in the air. Even worst for Geraxi, his front suspension died, forcing him to make a pit stop. And for even more drama, the NFR mechanics weren't able to fix it, pushing him to withdrawn. On the next laps, DLV was putting some pressure on JSK, but the poleman wasn't failing at keeping his lead, after a quarter of the race distance, he waved at the Antiaris driver and started to gap him. And then, it was a very boring race... Except midrace battle between LeManchot, Nanex and Aposki, who benefited to the latter, we had to wait till the last laps to finally get some action. Kip, 3rd, was pressuring DLV. The Dutch rookie, en route to his first podium on his second race only, was hungry for more than a 3rd position, and started to battle with DLV. On the same time, KingOfIce after being a long time 8th, took the best of Yorry's 7th place. JSK won the race in a desert of a gap all alone, finally after over a year out of gold medal, since the Slovakian last win was on september 2023, when the league went to South City with the XFR, meanwhile DLV took the best of Kip in the last lap, taking profit that the FSR driver was bothered by Nanex under a blue flag, allowing DLV to put a crucial attack for the second final place. Kip still scoring a impressive podium for his second race. Donald ends up 4th, not too far of the podium. Proxima, System, KingOfIce, Yorry, Aposki, Nanex were completing the race that saw 12 drivers out of the 13 crossing the finish line.
The only change to happen on the results was that KingOfIce has been given a 30 second post-race penalty for using a reset and not completing a voluntary stop-go penalty. He didn't lost a lot in the story, only dropping 8th, since on his back, Yorry was the only driver to finish on the same lap.
Next and final round will be held the 16th december, before the league turns into x-mas mode with the yearly "open de noel", using a previously unused combo on the league : the FOX at Kyoto Oval.
