24h For Anna LFS France

Sosiski Racing - Dod1slaw and Team America - Mazdaratie won the 4h of Kyoto!

Saturday 11th evening, Kyoto was the theater of the 4h of Kyoto from the LFS Endurance series' round 3 where LFS France with the great help of New Dimension Racing hosted a support race for the sim racing charity event "24h for Anna". Action was in the menu, even in LMP2. Jsk and his Master Race Car machine tried to play with the strategy to beat on Sosiski Racing. But Dod1slaw and his impressive pace saved the furnitures, and the Russian claimed his second win of the season, meanwhile it's the second podium of the season for Jsk. On the last step of the podium, uncertainty has hung in the air at the beginning of the race but also on the end. Wiskiheyp had taken a great start, but infortunately he has been sent on spinning by Growler Racing's G.Ramses way too optimistic about closing on a 30+ meters gap on the breaking of a small corner. MrPlantPlant took the early provisonal 3rd place, until Wiskiheyp didn't panic and got the position back on the track. FSR Team had the podium almost 100% sealed in front of the sister team Frenily Racing by FSR Team, until at the end of the race, System met a puncture and had to do a early pitstop, leavin the FSR boss short in fuel for the last stint. But thankfully, he managed to have a quick refuel for just 2 laps, and that's how they scored their first season podium. Frenily Racing by FSR Team still score a great P4 with its norwegian duo. Horniga Loca Racing follows in P5 meanwhile Growler Racing end on the last position in LMP2, with P6.

In GT3, the things spiced up as the start wasn't even settled, pole sitter Mazdaratie in Team America 3's 4M-GT3 false started as he started on the LMP2's green flag by mistake, instead of the second green flag, which was due for the GT3 class. Magic 4Anna Turtles indirectly helped him on the first laps, as ex-French League hoster Logan failed to pick the right setup, as he was about to finish the first lap, he started to loose some pace and build a train of cars behind him. When SM Racing and The Sim Power's team passed the Magic Turtle's car, Team America's dutch driver was already flying away. At the end of the second lap, Logan made a stop and joined the garage to change his setup, and join back with a lap late. On the lead, Mazdaratie evidently took a drive through penalty for his failure to follow the race start procedure. He left the GT3 race lead to Alex until The Sim Power's making its first pitstop. And from 19th lap, Mazdaratie didnt left the GT3. Same story for the belgian duo on the second place, as the pair Alex-Aerox didnt left the second place... On the 3rd place, things were a bit more undecise, as Yes We Kan's Cyk made a great climb up from 8th on the grid, and he fighted through the strategy against SM Racing with S.Martin and E.Harmon. In the end, it's the frenchman in its pink Pochete that got the last word for the last step on the podium. But even if the top 3 didnt produced a lot of action -except the third place strategy battle- the rest of the GT3 pack didnt lacked of fights, as the broadcasters had their eye focused on the last laps battle between two another belgians : Magic 4Anna Turtle's Bishop and Twister OS Racing's Nex, in which the first one got the last word on for GT3's 7th place, while Nex failed at it by lacking of fuel on the last lap.

For another year, LFS France's succeeded in hosting a support event for the 24h For Anna. As the race worked well in term of attendants, as for the streamings who helped to add 285€ of donations for the 24h for Anna who is currently at the time we're writting the news, sunday evening, at 9700€. And that, it wouldn't have been possible without everyone involved to this race! From the drivers to the organisation, passing by the New Dimension Racing who sanctionned this event with professionalism and the streamers with the unavoidable french duo Nanex and Hekatte for the Nanex_TV, or also Pete Butcher and his simbroadcasts' crew who both did a quality streaming on their side, a big thanks you! We'll give you a meeting to the next year for a 3rd support event, hopping that the update will come on until then, but also we hope to see you for the 4th round of the LFSES for the 2h of South City on February 22nd.
